DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN INSURANCE?
I am a participating provider with Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, United Healthcare, for acupuncture. Additionally acupuncture and in some cases, herbal formulas and supplements are approved flexible spending accounts (FSA) expenses.

HOW LONG ARE APPOINTMENTS?
The first appointment lasts about 90 minutes.

WHAT IS MY FIRST APPOINTMENT LIKE?
The first appointment lasts about 90 minutes. It includes a comprehensive intake interview and treatment. We’ll talk about your goals, symptoms, history and lifestyle. From there, we’ll develop a holistic treatment strategy to support your healing and wellbeing.

WHAT IS YOUR COVID POLICY?
Due to the current risk of COVID-19, all patients who are sick, or experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, or increased shortness of breath cannot be seen in the office.

WHAT IF I TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19?
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have come in contact with someone who has tested positive, you must wait 14 days or receive a negative test before booking. I can continue to care for you and give you advice virtually in the interim. Please email juliet@thriveandheal.com to set up a virtual session.

ARE MASKS REQUIRED IN THE OFFICE?
YES, masks are required in the office.
